APPF Inc. offers a variety of radio frequency (RF) heat sealing services to accommodate diverse plastic applications and industries. Our well-equipped RF sealing facilities feature over 30 major pieces of equipment, including 3 computer-driven, moving head, Forsstrom track welders with table lengths up to 130 feet. Through a combination of skilled staff and advanced machinery, we perform expert RF welding to achieve superior quality and precision.

Our RF heat sealing services are particularly well suited to manufacturing large area maintenance shelter panels (LAMS), tank liners, Oil Boom and Spill containment systems, and other large plastic components. To ensure each heat sealing job meets your specifications, we also offer weld validation. Plastic materials we frequently work with include:

APPF relies on tried-and-true plastic welding processes and state-of-the-art service to meet high standards across the board. In addition to our complete range of large and small fixed frequency sealers, our specialized equipment inventory includes a computer driven 10 kW, 2-cycle RF sealer, capable of producing mandrel welds that are used to install tubing in PVC and urethane medical bags. For larger plastic sealing orders, we also feature a 4-post, 30 kW, computer-driven, 54"x75" RF sealer.

Appropriate for Navy target balloons and Class I medical devices, which follow CGMP specifications, our RF welding services deliver every time.
